Meet the Team Behind Kennedy Strategic Communications Kennedy Strategic Communications was founded with a clear mission in mind – to empower businesses, organizations, and individuals to create meaningful connections through purpose-driven communication. Our journey began in 2018 when founders Aqualyn and Robert Kennedy, Jr. recognized the need for a communications firm that combines strategic thinking, subject matter expertise, and a deep understanding of the power of effective messaging.
With decades of experience in branding, public relations, crisis management, and business development, we have honed our skills to deliver exceptional results for our clients. We have built strong relationships and high-quality strategic partnerships, assembling a team of experts in branding, marketing, event planning, public relations, media, and more.

Meet Aqualyn Kennedy,
Our Inspirational Leader
As the CEO and President of Kennedy Strategic Communications, Aqualyn Kennedy brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, brand management, and business development. Her expertise spans various industries, including healthcare, finance, academia, nonprofit, sports, and entertainment.
Aqualyn has served in a variety of roles across industries including roles at Procter & Gamble, BBN, Capital One and other well-respected companies. She founded AQUA-LYNK Marketing Agency, a brand consultancy firm, and built a diverse client base from the health, financial, academic, nonprofit, sports and entertainment industries. Throughout her career, she actively volunteered with a number of organizations including the American Heart Association, Atlanta’s Woodruff Arts Center, The United Way of Massachusetts Bay, the Atlanta Women’s Foundation, Junior League of Atlanta and Mobile, NAACP, the League of Women Voters, YMCA, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and The Links, Incorporated.
Aqualyn studied Mathematics at Spelman College and received her MBA in General Management from Duke University. Her mantra is “Health is wealth.” She is committed to changing the community one heart at a time.
About Robert Kennedy, Jr.
Robert Kennedy, Jr. grew up in Prichard, Alabama and graduated with honors from John S. Shaw High School. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and served his country in the Asia Pacific and Arabian Gulf operating areas. He also received a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Human Resource Development from the Naval Postgraduate School. After completing his military service, Robert matriculated at Duke University to earn his M.B.A. On the first day of classes, he met his future wife. Aqualyn will tell you that it took him 12 years to ask her out. They joyfully disagree about that narrative to this day. Upon graduating, Robert launched his civilian career with Fortune 500 companies in the retail, casino gaming, and biotech spaces. Robert is a process-driven leader with an ability to translate complex concepts into bite-sized, digestible morsels for clients and their consumers.
